SebastiAn has composed the soundtrack to Romain Garvas debut film “Notre Jour Viendra”. Romain Garvas is renowned for his work on Justice’s music video “Stress”, their documentary Across the Universe + many other big artists. The film “Notre Jour Viendra” is out on September 15th and the soundtrack will be released through Ed Banger Records on September 13th.

Mathias Modica comes back with his first Munk track after more than 2 years and you can hear it nearly everywhere right now: Erol Alkan, Tim Sweeney, Shit Robot, even Ellen Alien and Mark Ronson are playing it, also Annie Mac on her Radio One show. Busy P will use it for his first mix CD and Kitsune, Bugged Out, Hed Kandi will re-release the song on compilations in autumn. (Even Karl Lagerfeld wanted the song in the soundtrack for his Chanel – movie Remember Now).

La Musica is a pre-release of Mondo Vagabondo: a 5-track Munk EP that will be released on October 1st 2010. Expect some Psychedelic House, digital funk and sweet bass-driven balearic vibes. Recorded in Rome, Marseille and Berlin by Mathias the Italo/German DJ, producer who runs Germany’s finest Gomma Records along with Telonius and created the still hot indie disco anthem Kick out the Chairs! with James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem and Live Fast Die Old with Asia Argento.

Besides doing Gomma and djing a lot Mathias last year also produced the album of German Indie superstars Die Sterne and is currently co-producing music the solo album of Nick MacCarthy of Franz Ferdinand. He has also been asked for remixes by artists and labels such as Yeasayer, Institubes, Joey Negro, Moshi Moshi, Voltage aka Cut Copy etc.

The new Munk single comes in the right moment. Munk’s label Gomma records has a huge buzz, their bands The Phenomenal Handclap Band (NYC), WhoMadeWho and Moullinex are touring the world with huge success and the Gomma sound gets finds more and more fans.
